OUR HISTORY

The Grand River Kennel Club was founded in 1950 as a non-profit organization and became incorporated in 1950. Grand River Kennel Club is dedicated to the advancement and welfare of purebred dogs and we are recognized member club of the American Kennel Club. Grand River Kennel Club dedicated to providing ongoing education and information to the public about dogs. Our club offers two shows every year, both in July as part of the Regatta Classic held in Madison, Ohio. Our original founders date back to 1950 Harry Knapp, Bob Mells and Norman J. Orford.

From Past To Present

The Grand River Kennel Club is honoured to preserve the club's history shwocasing the many great owners, dogs and judges who have supported the Reagatta Classic Dog show over the past 70 years. Our club is rich in history and we are proud to share these wonderful images caputuring the spirit and success of those who have gone before us and those who strive to continue to make The Grand River Kennel Club and the Regatta Classic Dog Show the accomplishment it is today.
