Founded in 1950 on the shores of Lake Erie, Ohio, The Grand River Kennel Club has been proudly hosting the Regatta Classic Dog Show for over 70 years. In honour of our prestigous heritage we are delighted to share our story though photographs from past to present.

Club Meetings

We Welcome Any Guests To Join Our Club!

Our meetings are usually on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 7:30 PM. No meetings in December, January or August.

A Prestigious History

The Grand River Kennel Club was founded in 1950 as a non-profit organization and became incorporated in 1950.

Grand River Kennel Club is dedicated to the advancement and welfare of purebred dogs and we are recognized member club of the American Kennel Club. Grand River Kennel Club is dedicated to providing ongoing education and information to the public about dogs. Our club offers two shows every year, both in July as part of the Regatta Classic held in Madison, Ohio. Our original founders date back to 1950 Harry Knapp, Bob Mells and Norman J. Orford.
